Privacy Policy

What we collect

Your account: name, email address, and the sign-in method you chose. If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive only your name and email.

What you save: recipes, restaurant reviews, dish ratings, notes, photos you upload, the trucks you follow, and your loyalty cards.

Location: only while you are using the app, to show restaurants and food trucks near you. We do not track your location in the background and do not store your location history.

Device tokens for push notifications, if you turn notifications on.

How recipe import works

When you share a link or screenshot, our server fetches that page or reads that image so it can pull out the ingredients and steps. Screenshots and page text are sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) for that extraction and are not used to train their models.

We keep the recipe we produced and the link you shared. We do not keep a copy of the original page.

What we never do

We do not sell your personal information.

We do not show third-party advertising in the app.

We do not share your saved recipes or reviews with other users unless you choose to share them.

Food truck businesses

If you claim a food truck, the business page you publish — name, logo, schedule, specials — is public inside the app.

Truck staff scanning a loyalty card see the customer’s first name and that card’s stamp history. They do not see your email or anything else you have saved.

Keeping and deleting your data

Your data stays until you delete it. Deleting a recipe or review removes it.

To delete your whole account and everything in it, email [email protected] from your account address and we will remove it within 30 days.
